AS vacuum filters / dust separators

Vacuum filters / dust separators
The AS dust separator serves to separate dust and dirt in the suction line of vacuum pumps (pre-pumps) and therefore protects them from contamination. The AS can be delivered with various filter inserts (paper, metal, polyester and active carbon).
WERNIG dust separators are produced on an order-related basis so extensive options are possible.

Features:

  • Low throttling
  • Quick cartridge replacement
  • Various cartridge types possible
  • Connection sizes can be optionally adapted (e.g. with O-ring slot or ANSI flanges)
  • Various material combinations possible, e.g. complete CrNi-steel
  • Outer surface painted according to customer specification

Assembly information

The installation position of the dust separator may be horizontal or vertical.
The flow direction is fundamentally to be kept as illustrated in the dimensional drawing (arrow).
Assembly may only be carried out under the clean, usual conditions in vacuum technology. Special attention is to be paid so that the sealing surfaces are not damaged. In the event of incorrect, unclean assembly and erroneous operation any guarantee claims are void. Additional forces by attachment parts etc. are fundamentally to be avoided. Decoupling, for example by bellows units is preferable.
